Halliday Finch ‘Lite’ package works extremely well for the smaller Diplomatic Missions who don't have their own national security officer or a multinational company that has staff deployed to Africa and don’t yet have the requirement for a full time security consultant with local experience.

The way it works - HF charge a small monthly retainer and dedicate a certain amount of hours each month to your protection. Each contract can be adapted to the clients' needs but a suggested bouquet would include the following:

  • 24/7 duty officer number for ALL security related problems. If your Embassy or company employee has a security related problem, he calls the Halliday Finch Duty Officer, who would be the first responder.
  • Often some simple guidance from a professional can calm a situation, however if the problem is more serious the duty officer would act as a command and control element, interacting with law enforcement agencies, response vehicles and keeping a log of any events that take place. This is especially important if there is to be any court appearances post event.
  • Security audit of the places of residence for Embassy or Company employees; this includes fire risk.
  • Write Office security protocols or update existing ones
  • A ‘keeping safe’ brief is given to all staff to ensure they adhere to some basic principles of security, thus reducing their personal risk profile and increase security awareness.
  • Training of the existing security staff at each residential location, ensuring they are personally involved with their mission.
  • Oversee driver training for key personalities if required.
  • Home staff interviews and completion of the Halliday Finch background check questionnaires.
  • Sharing of any security related information that comes from Halliday Finch sources, relevant to the Embassy or Company in the area.
  • Regular sms updates of incidents of relevance to the Embassy or Company staff
  • Security reports by incident, Weekly or monthly
  • Quarterly review of housing security.
  • Safety briefing to all new employees entering the country for the first time.
  • Reporting in to the Clients international operations room with any incident if applicable
