The Order of Malta

Halliday Finch supports the aims of the Order of Malta. The Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes, and of Malta (known as the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM), Order of Malta or Knights of Malta for short) is a Roman Catholic order based in Rome, Italy.

The Burnaby Blue Foundation

Halliday Finch promotes the cause of The Burnaby Blue Foundation, a small charity that had its genesis in Azerbaijan following a British Army expedition undertaken by members of the Household Cavalry Regiment in the summer of 2000. The expedition spent much of its time working on charitable projects and ultimately found such need in the orphanages of Azerbaijan that the leader, Sacha Tomes, now a Lieutenant Colonel in the Blues and Royals, resolved to do more and set up the BBF. They now work in Kenya (represented by Sam Mattock), Lesotho and Azerbaijan.

British Legion Kenya

Sam Mattock is a member of the Executive Committee of the British Legion Kenya, a branch of the Metropolitan Region of The Royal British Legion. The association is charged with the provision of welfare support to former Crown servicemen and women in need, and their immediate dependents, living in Kenya. British Legion Kenya will raise, invest and disburse sufficient funds, and resource appropriate care in order to provide sustainable welfare support to former Crown soldiers and their immediate dependents in need, living in Kenya.
